What is the magic?
I've been thinking What is the magic? Is very fast movements of the hand or whatever? Or is it just of tricks to fool the mind. The one time I did see the magic on TV (If there is such a thing) Paul Daniels made a camera that was filming actually disappear. When he disappeared through the magic (?) The whole picture was lost and then had to turn to look at a camera and continue filming the series? I've heard David Copperfield talk washes jumbo jets. But what about such a thing as magic? Thanks
Look at the life of these famous occultists, and then decide if it works: Cornielius Henry Agrippa von Nettesheim: One of the most famous occultists of the Middle Ages. Paracelsus: Thought himself a great doctor, but he was actually an alchemist who had bizarre theories about human anatomy and prescribed dangerous remedies for his patients. This man was said to be arrogant and vain, and was rejected by the other medical experts of his time. dead broke at age 48. Edward Kelly: An assistant of Dee, after failing to get rich with Enochian Magick, was killed trying to escape from prison. He had been imprisoned for his old hobby, counterfeiting. Aleister Crowley had a nervous breakdown in the past four months in a mental hospital after trying to exorcise a demon a Paris hotel. In 1947 he died impoverished in a flophouse, forgotten by his family, a drug addict and alcoholic, despite starting life as a rich heir Crowley's Ale. He squandered it all on drugs and prostitutes.
